The word "dem", which means "time" and "breath" in Persian, refers to the cycle of life and death. It encourages people to find resistance, sensitivity, courage and maturity within themselves. In my works, I focus on the human spirit by creating an emotional bond between the psychological states I observe and the elements I use such as stain, form and color. In this way, I make the figures live in the cycle created by "time" and "breath" metaphorically.
