My paintings contain the stories of hundreds of different characters. Carrying little hints of myself in each of their stories, this series of portraits is a reflection of my life's adventures. The characters I draw live a plain and simple life far from popular culture. I imagined these characters from my most personal space - my own memories - and portrayed them on different surfaces. The motto of the portraits, perhaps after the deep questioning of time and place, is the longing for nature and the primal self.
