My paintings are shaped by the concern of creating an expression based on feeling trapped in today's society. I portrait the individual - who in today's system is caught between the pressure of mass society to create monotonous human beings and the idea that personal identity can exist; who cannot be liberated, and thus, encounters obstacles limiting his existence - through deformed and ambiguous portraits.
