Painting is an activity that I do only for myself, unlike to my roles as a mother, wife, child, sister, friend or any other role that I play voluntarily or involuntarily in this world. In addition to oil on canvas, I create works using different materials such as metal and fabric. I experiment with the handmade papers I made and old photographs. I take most of my inspiration from the city I live in. In my works, I focus on individual and social memory, urban change, and the visibility of women in society.
