In my paintings, I use the mountain, cliff, and still water depictions as tools, which reflect the concepts of silence and solitude. My compositions are dominated by the tension between two things: the two-dimensional, majestic, serene natural landscapes and three-dimensional, small-scale, mostly man-made singular elements. I paint pictures of human beings without using a single human figure.
