Derya Ülker
I paint the crowds that exist on the picture plane and transform the space they live in. The movement of the multitudes, the singularities in them, and their reticulated bodies, unlike any other, formally interest me. On the other hand, I think about social concepts such as the flood of people in cities, the expression of their demands and the kaleidoscopic diversity they form. Especially on the axis of this subject, I strive to produce images based on the connotations in everyday life.
