Aylin Mestan
I see my workspace as a web. The web is porous and it is the relationship it has with its location that determines the way this web radiates. The sensation I get from my works is the life itself. The forms I create at this point are an inner movement, an inner life, an inner activity in itself. They develop by interacting with each other. What was seen as formless or "without a certain form" in the past is not acknowledged the same today. As the questions I raise about one's self gets intense, so does the position and shape of the forms I create.
